LIFE IN STORE ! WHAT DOES LIFE HAVE IN STORE FOR YOU ?
Life in Store, is a Comic book idea I have had kicking around in my head for over ten years now. In the WORLD of LIFE IN STORE, I was going to tell the tale of the life of a retail clerk, who is stuck in retail hell . A hell like PRISON, that he thinks he can not escape.
Back in 2003 I came up with the idea of LIFE IN STORE. This is an outline of the first ideas I had about life in store 's concept back in April of that year.

A. LIFE IN STORE: COMIC STRIP
1. Originally designed as a Online only daily web comic strip.
B. Funny Gag a day Comic , the milieu being COMEDY w/ emotional depth.
C. Description: A group OF RETAIL PRISONERS who work together, hang out , live & love
solve the problems of the daily retail grind of life . they think about the weekends and how to get through the work day .( ORIGINAL 2003 names) follow.
D.MAIN CHARACTERS:
CLERKS:
a. LEIGH (LEE): A Beautiful young woman age 22 , New to LIFE IN STORE'S store but not to the business of retail. She has a PARENT in a retail store, a town away.
b. DAVID : A brash young man who is new to the store also, has 2 years ahead of Leigh, in retail.
c. DARMA: David's trainee, with boy trouble.
d."BOSS" : The man in charge on the store's day to day operations. treats his people like crap is a bit of a perv.
e.MARY: nice middle aged woman who has to fight her way to the top , has a 15 year old .
f. DIVA: loud mouthed mom who loves to speak her mind.
g .PATSY: Mother of 3 , who has an opinion on everything , major gossip.
h. HENRY: Over weight male in his middle age, with a need to talk endlessly about things.
i.JOE: An ANGRY slacker, handsome, with a collection addiction.
j.MAC: Early thirties family man who walks the line between child hood and adult hood.
k. SUE: Manager unsure on how to use her power.
E. SETTING : The STORE (UNNAMED )is in a Suburb, on in eastern U.S.A. thanks to a recent overhaul they are the new flagship store in the area.
F. FORMAT: Daily comic strip, comedy , series about conflicts of people who work in retail ,the day in the life type stories of young & old workers, who are trapped in a LIFE IN STORE.
The mix of everyday life of young people & dealing with maturity and a retail job. they have motivations & goals to escape . the retail life , some will make it , others will not . hopefully in a funny way. It's about crazy customers, wacky managers, & they poor schmucks stuck in the middle.
